What is the difference between the Armaverse Phases?
Each Armaverse Phase consists of parts based on a different-sized, anatomically-proportionate human figure called a Humature.
     Phase 3:  6-inch Humature
     Phase 4:  9-inch Humature
     Phase 5: 12-inch Humature
Each Phase can also be used to create virtually any other figure or character imaginable in any size you desire.  See the Philosophy page for examples.

What happened to Phase 1?
Phase 1 armatures were introduced in 1995 and had the same dimensions as the current Phase 2 line, but were fabricated from a dense aluminum.  We upgraded to stainless steel in 1998 and introduced Phase 2 to the animation world.  Today a new era begins with the debut of Phase 3!

Why is Phase 2 being discontinued?
Armaverse Phase 4 (featuring a 9-inch Humature) and Phase 5 (featuring a 12-inch Humature) are now available.  Since the "old" Phase 2 is also based on a 12-inch scale, we will not be manufacturing any new Phase 2 parts.

Are my Phase 2 armatures obsolete?
Quite the contrary! Phase 2 Armature pieces and kits are completely adaptable with the new Phase 3, 4 and 5 pieces and kits, making the "old" parts and kits more valuable than ever.  All Armaverse Armature parts will always be completely interchangeable.

How do I build all the creatures like spiders and elephants that are not sold as kits on the site?
Lions and tigers and bears...oh my!  Anything is possible with Armaverse.  In the coming months, we'll be publishing more and more about the adaptability of the amazing new Armaverse Phase 3 system.  For now, check out the Armaverse Philosophy page to learn more.

Can you tell me the sizes of individual pieces?
Click here to view a PDF of Armaverse Phase 3 parts dimensions.   Print out the Armaverse Parts Dimensions PDF files at 100% and you’ll have accurate outlines of every Armaverse Phase 3 part. This is all the information we are able to provide on the dimensions of Armaverse parts at this time. The only way to get a closer look is to place an order!

Can I make taller or shorter characters?
You are encouraged to experiment with Armaverse kits and pieces to come up with your own ideal combination of parts to build the character of your design. The parts are designed to be completely interchangeable, allowing you to give your characters longer or shorter limbs, spines, necks, etc.

How do I secure my character to the set?
To provide a solid base for animating, most animators choose to tie-down the armature while working by attaching the character's feet, hands, claws or paws by using pegboard or carefully drilling holes in the set. Hardware and instructions are included with each Armaverse kit.

What is your return policy?
Armaverse offers a ten-day return policy that allows you to return your item or items within ten days after receipt of your order for a refund (excluding shipping and handling).

How should I pay?
The best way to order is with a credit card.  You'll receive immediate confirmation of your processed order and your kit will be shipped within one business day.  Checks and money orders are also accepted.  Just complete the online order form and send payment to:
